My wife and I stayed at THE HIDEOUT last week for 4D3N and it was excellent! The location was ideal for both our touristic itineraries (as it is within walking distances to the must-try food and coffee stops, not to mention also the clothing apartments/streets) and some lively night stroll along the famous Bui Vien Street. As for the atmosphere & vibe in the hostel, it was balanced as we find it quiet and relaxing during mornings and afternoons, yet its in-house bar turns into a party place at night (even with free 2 beers per guest every night 7-8pm). The hostel also hosts Pub Crawls three times in a week and that is something worth experiencing. The rooms and the public areas are clean and well-maintained. There is WiFi connection anywhere within the hostel. They also offer their luggage storage areas for those who come earlier than their check-in’s or to guests who had already checked-out but whose flights are still on a later time. Finally, the most endearing part of our stay on this hostel is the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. Big thanks and shout out to CANH, CHLOE, MINT, PHOEBE, ALICE, LEAN, ALEX (hope we spelled your names right) for making our stay memorable. We will see you [very] soon!

The staff here are incredible, very cool people. The free pub crawl is on three times a week and is very fun and a great way to meet new people, they give you a free shot at every bar. They also have a very nice pool table that they use to host a pool tournament. It is the nicest pool table I have played on in the whole of Vietnam. The staff made my stay very enjoyable it wouldn’t have been the same without them. If I had had the chance I would have thanked them myself.

It's a nice hostel. My bed was clean, my roommates were polite, the staff was knowledgeable and the bar was excellent. Odds are, anyone backpacking through Ho Chi Minh City would be happy here.

Amazing social hostel to stay in Saigon. Really good location. Rooms and beds are greats. They offer 2 free beers each day during 1 hour, good thing to meet new people. I will definitely come back !

The pub crawl was one of the main highlights of my trip — not only because the interaction with other travelers was great, but also because our guide, John Styx, made everyone feel welcome. He’s such a fun and genuine person that I ended up joining three pub crawls with him. As someone who isn’t naturally extroverted, he helped me enjoy my trip in a way I never had before. The hostel itself is also great — the facilities are excellent, everything is clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Highly recommended.
